MVII stops accepting some empties

News

APM Terminals will stop accepting Maersk empties at MVII in Rotterdam due to yard congestion.

APM Terminals Maasvlakte II has issued a notice that it will stop accepting Maersk empty containers at its terminal from 12 July until further notice.

Based on current deliveries, APM Terminals projects that yard density will exceed “operational limits” if it does not take action. Therefore, the terminal will no longer accept Maersk empty containers delivered by truck.

APM Terminals advises that Maersk 20ft and 40ft dry containers and 40ft high cubes can be returned to the Kramer Depot for Maersk Stock. For all other container types return details will be provided by Maersk Customer Service Teams.
