Rotterdam-based IT Partner, part of the IT Partner Group, and VSH TRANSPORT, part of the VSH United Group headquartered in Paramaribo, Suriname, have successfully implemented new CENTER SUITE software at VSH TRANSPORT’s Multi Cargo Terminal. The implementation was completed with onsite support and remote assistance from IT Partner.

VSH TRANSPORT has been a customer of IT Partner for over a decade now. Over that period IT Partner continued to develop the different modules in their CENTER SUITE product to incorporate new tools and technologies. In 2020 VSH TRANSPORT decided to upgrade its entire operation and, based on its good relationship with the company and the performance of its products, once again choose IT Partner as their vendor of choice.

“Over the years IT Partner has proven to be a solid, reliable partner who knows our business and operations and the special characteristics of the world of Logistics,” said Sjoerd Poort, Managing Director of VSH TRANSPORT. “Our previous solution was working fine, a very practical system. However when I saw the very advanced possibilities of the newer versions of the CENTER SUITE products, I knew I wanted the advantages and could not afford to miss this opportunity of increasing our efficiency.”

“The implementation includes the Mobile APP, Gate, inspection and more advanced weighing functions, graphical vessel and yard planning and full control of Container Handling Equipment via the advanced Move Management Module. Via EDI Management VSH TRANSPORT connects to all external and internal stakeholders such as agencies and box operators,” IT Partner stated.

“The CENTER SUITE products will help to reduce truck turnaround time and the number of moves,” said Dennis Brommert from IT Partner. “It also provides more advanced tools for reporting, making it easier to manage the Multi Cargo terminal on a daily basis.

“Although we are able to do implementations completely remote, we now chose to have a team onsite and one in the Netherlands. In this way we were able to have a maximum reduction of the downtime of the terminal helping VSH TRANSPORT to deliver the excellent service they always provide to their customers. And that’s what we do as well, we deliver excellent products and services.”
