CMA CGM to integrate MacAndrews into Containerships brand

According to CMA CGM in Marseilles, a single brand will be able to "unlock major synergies and concentrate its resources on commercial growth and on the development of high quality services for its customers.

"The integration of the local agencies networks will also allow for the creation of a tailored intra-regional service, in line with the CMA CGM Group’s “Customer Centricity” strategy." Clearly the giant carrier is looking to save costs.

CMA CGM acquired Containerships in mid-2018.

The line acquired MacAndrews, a UK-Iberia specialist, in 2002 and, through it, acquired Iberia/Morocco/Canaries-North Continents short sea specialist OPDR in 2017.
