Konecranes reveals port equipment revenues

Following the MHPS acquisition, Konecranes is reporting three business areas: Service, Industrial Equipment and Port Solutions as of 1st January, 2017

.The figures provided below include recast segment results for 2016 reflecting the company's new financial reporting and organisational structure.

Until now Konecranes has reported two segments: Business Area Service and Business Area Equipment. The previous Business Area Service included all service and parts operations of Konecranes. This meant there too much opacity for a specialist publication like WorldCargo News so we have not been reporting the financials.
