Mobile harbour crane business abounds

Liebherr has delivered four units of the fixed barge- or pontoon-mounted version of its largest mobile harbour crane to Brazilian port operator Porto Chibatão.

Marcor, the Rotterdam-based stevedore and terminal operating company, has taken delivery of its first Liebherr LHM 800e mobile harbour crane.

Liebherr is to supply the Rijeka Gateway terminal in Croatia with 15 eRTGs and two eRMGs. All of the machines will be operated using the crane manufacturing company’s Remote Operator Stations (ROS).
