Yantian port will resume full operations on 24 June.
After nearly a month of disruptions, Hutchison Ports Yantian has announced that the port is set to resume full operations.
“With the full support of relevant government departments and on the premise of strict epidemic prevention, Hutchison Ports YANTIAN (YANTIAN) has taken proactive measures to steadily resume normal terminal operations. Currently, COVID-19 has been effectively under control in the port area, and the operation capacity of the terminals have steadily recovered. It is now decided that from 00:00 on June 24, YANTIAN will resume full operations”.
All berths, including the West Port area, will be resuming normal activities. The number of export gate-in truck moves will be increased to 9,000 per day, and normal activities will resume for empty container and import pick up.
Export container delivery also returns to normal, which means exports can arrive no earlier than seven days prior to vessel ETA.
