Key appointments regarding Russian Far East Ports; new Board member for Tallink Group; changing the guard at Kuehne + Nagel

Russia’s federal Development Ministry has announced that Aslan Kanukoev (pictured left) has been appointed as Director General of the Far East Development Corporation (KRDV). He was previously Deputy Director General and Chairman of the budget committee. KRDV runs 18 territories and the free port of Vladivostok.

 

Ozgur Kalelioglu has been appointed as President, Ports & Terminals, Arkas Holding AS. He has been a director the division since 2007 and became Vice President in 2015.

Arkas Holding is now controlled by Lucien Arkas. His son Bernard runs the shipping agency division and daughter Diane runs the logistics division. Arkas Holding groups 67 companies operating in 23 countries. The Arkas shipping fleet includes 40 owned vessels.

Yevgeny Dmitrakov has been reappointed to the post of Director General of Vanino Commercial Sea Port on Russia’s Pacific coast for a third successive one-year term.

 

Mrs Piret Mürk-Dubout has been selected as a member of the management board of Tallink Group replacing Andres Hunt whose mandate ended on February 26th 2019. Since 2016 she has been CEO and chairman of the management board of the Tallin Airport. As of April 15th 2019 the A/S Tallink Group’s Board will consist of five members under the chair of Paavo Nögene: Lembit Kitter , Mrs Kadri-Land, Harri Hansschmidt and Mrs Piret Mürk- Dubout.

Edwin Muilwijk is leaving his poisition as Marketing Manager of the Magna Tyres Group on 12th March, after several years in post. His duties will be assumed by other team members at Magna until a successor is found.

 

Jürgen Fitschen and Hans Lerch, long-standing Board of Directors of Kuehne + Nagel International AG, will not stand for re-election at the AGM of 7th May. David Kamenetzky, currently is proposed for the election to the Board of Directors of Kuehne + Nagel International AG. He is currently Chief Strategy & External Affairs Officer, Member of the Executive Board of Management of Anheuser-Busch Inbev SA/NV (AB InBev).
