Stamping press offloaded in Dunkirk

The latest generation stamping press from Hyundai Rotem in Korea is an important part of Renault’s investment in the future Kangoo model to be built at MCA Maubeuge Construction Automobile.

The cargo has just finished unloading by stevedoring company Barra SNM at Dock 6 in the Eastern Dock. Le Maire acted as the cargo consignor and DT Project is the freight forwarder.

Pieces weighing more than 100 tonnes will be transloaded to inland waterway vessels and the rest of the consignment will be trucked to MBA.

The execution of this project is a good illustration of the capabilities and know-how that exists in the port of Dunkirk for project cargoes, said GPM de Dunkerque’s CEO Stéphane Raison.
