Tanger-Med II to be automated

ICTSI receives three quay cranes intended for its flagship Manila International Container Terminal.

China’s crane manufacturer ZPMC announces delivery of eleven quay cranes to major container terminals worldwide.

The newly arrived quay cranes at London Gateway are expected to operate for at least 25 years, and are sized to accommodate world’s largest container ships.

LASE has received an important safety certification for an automation system that allows an automated yard crane to transfer a container to a road truck with the driver in the cab.

The cranes have a reach of 24 containers across and have been designed to tackle the challenges posed by windy conditions. Also, the KPA has ordered four RTGs.
