TVH opens new warehouse in the UK

Belgium-based TVH, one of the world’s largest suppliers of material handling, industrial and agricultural equipment parts and accessories, has acquired a large new warehouse in Kidderminster

Stephen Smallbone (pictured left), General Sales Manager of TVH UK, and John Percy, Managing Director of Bepco UK (a leading TVH customer), say they want to guarantee the excellent level of service customers have come to expect, irrespective of what happens regarding Brexit.

 

“In order to guarantee long-term support for our customers in the UK market, we have now purchased a warehouse right in the centre of the UK - in Kidderminster, Worcestershire,” Smallbone said.

 

“This solution is twofold. Firstly, the Kidderminster warehouse is currently 130,000 ft2 with the future possibility to extend to 185,000 ft2. This removes once and for all the effect of possible customs or aircraft/air-bridge delays on urgent deliveries, for parts that will be stocked in our UK warehouse.

 

Secondly, we expect our enlarged UK warehouse to offer our customers later cut-off times for order placing. Whatever the outcome of the Brexit negotiations, the construction work is expected to start soon so that the warehouse will be operational within a year.”
