Antwerp flushed with success
With container traffic up 11.5 percent in the first quarter of this year to 1.125 mill TEU, Antwerp looks set to maintain its recent high growth in the container sector, in contrast to some other major north Continent ports. In March, the port handled its largest monthly throughput of 433,867 TEU- up 15 percent (56,735 TEU) on the previous monthly record.
