MSC gets green light as major shareholder in HHLA
NewsHamburg’s city parliament approved MSC’s entry as a major shareholder in HHLA, despite opposition, with final approval pending from the European Commission.
Tollerort expansion
HHLA’s Tollerort Container Terminal (TCT) has been enlarged by 4 hectares and storage capacity has been increased by 950 TEU. The quay wall has also been extended by 45m. The changes will reportedly provide for an 80,000 TEU increase in annual throughput.
