Maersk and Hapag-Lloyd opt for Cape of Good Hope route for Gemini
NewsMaersk and Hapag-Lloyd have opted to launch their Gemini Cooperation via the Cape of Good Hope in February 2025, bypassing the Suez Canal due to Red Sea security concerns.
Kobe double act
From next month Maersk KK and K-Line will have a joint lease agreement with Kobe Port Terminal Corporation (KPTC) covering Rokko Terminals RC-4/5 and RC-2/3 where, up to now, the carriers have had separate lease agreements.
