Although the Port of Melbourne Corporation (PoMC) has rejected a Dynamic Under Keel Clearance (DUKC) system in favour of concentrating on channel deepening to 14m, the neighbouring port of Geelong is pursuing a proposal with Melbourne-based DUKC instigator, OMC International.
