South African Port Operations (SAPO) has announced that it is content with improved efficiency at the nation’s ports and that it will now focus on increasing capacity. The shipping sector had long complained about slow turnaround times at South Africa’s main container terminals but the government and SAPO are expressing confidence that the situation has been greatly improved.
