Tacoma to deepen Blair Waterway
NewsThe Port of Tacoma has recently executed a design agreement with the US Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) to carry out navigational improvements in the Blair Waterway.

The Port of Tacoma has reached a “restated” lease with Totem Ocean Trailer Express, Inc (TOTE). The new lease runs through 2034 and the Port will redevelop the TOTE’s terminal on the Blair Waterway to up to 72 acres (29 hectares) in size, allowing TOTE to meet the growing Alaska market.
