U-turn on Djibouti tariffs


Under pressure from Ethiopia, the government of Djibouti has agreed to suspend planned increases in port tariffs. Djibouti has acted as the main port for Ethiopia since the latter lost its own ports of Assab and Massawa following the secession of Eritrea in 1993.
