New deepwater port for India

Puri Port Ltd, a joint venture between Century Ply and the Shyam group, is to develop a captive deepwater port at a total cost of US$180M at Bali Haichandi, some 10 km from the city of Puri in India. It will have a draught of 12m and be able to handle bulk carriers of up to 60,000 dwt.
