Sheerness Master Plan
Peel Ports has announced a Master Plan detailing a 20-year strategy for growth at its busiest southern port. Sheerness currently handles around 1.3 Mtpa, including around 330,000 cars, but there is potential to increase this to 3.1 Mtpa over the next 20 years. The port supports 660 jobs across a range of sectors including marine and waterside operations, cargo handling, business management and administration.
