The dispute over the award of a contract for three STS gantry cranes by Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) to Liebherr shows no sign of abating. Following last month’s report (WorldCargo News, December 2015, p2), it is now known that Kenyan businessman and Kocks Krane representative Maur Abdallah Bwanamaka obtained a Court Order to visit the crane erection site – the local Cormaco shipyard – and inspect the cranes.
