El Hamdania project set for Algeria

The government of Algeria wants to develop a new port at El Hamdania, 9 km from the city of Cherchell, west of Algiers and opposite Murcia in Spain. The cost is estimated at US$3.5B. Detailed plans were completed at the end of December by Yuhill-Yooshin of South Korea and Laboratoire des Etudes Maritimes (LEM) of Algeria.
