Terminal Cuenca del Plata (TCP) has put forward a US$600M plan to expand and upgrade its Montevideo box handling facility. This forms part of an agreement reached in February 2021 between majority shareholder Katoen Natie and the government, the quid pro quo being an extension of the existing concession until 2081.
