Nigeria’s Lekki finally ready to compete

The new Port of Lekki in southwestern Nigeria has been completed and handled its first transhipment cargo in May. The port officially opened in November 2022 but operations have been gradually ramped up over the past few months as customs services and additional infrastructure has been completed.
