Transfennica charts a new course
Earlier this year four large, chartered ro-ro newbuildings entered service for Transfennica to serve its rapidly growing Hanko-Lübeck route and the Helsinki-based operator is set to receive more tonnage following an order by its main shareholder, Spliethoff. Four 3000 lane-m ro-ros will be built at the Stocznia Szczecinska Nowa shipyard in Szczecin, Poland.
