The imminent delivery of the first of five FLOWER class ro-ro vessels to DFDS Tor Line marks a significant step in the shipping company’s North Sea development plans. It took [late] delivery of three large ro-ro vessels from a Fincantieri yard between 1999 and 2000 to serve in its AngloBridge service between Gothenburg and Immingham, but they are to be replaced by three of the five new FLOWER class ships (being) built in Germany.
