Feederlink has introduced a weekly feeder service, the East Coast Service, linking Southampton with Grangemouth and South Shields. The service is operated by KOMET III, a gearless vessel with an intake of 407 TEU and 80 reefer plugs. The new service takes the number of feeder services at DP World Southampton to five, with the other four operated by X-Press Container Line.
