Following a sale and purchase agreement that is contingent on approval by the Spanish authorities, Acciona will sell its 92.7% stake in mainland-Balearics, Canary Islands and Ceuta/Melilla exclaves ro-pax ferry operator Trasmediterránea to Naviera Armas Group. The value of the deal is understood to be €388M, including €127.3M of debt write-downs to various Acciona companies. If regulatory approval is obtained, the deal should be concluded in Q1 2018.
