NYK acquires Tranco
NYK Group has increased its stake in Tranco Terminal, the largest car handling terminal in Kazakhstan, in Almaty, from 25% to 100%. The terminal opened in January 2009 and in October that year NYK Holding Europe BV purchased a 25% stake. The purchase of the outstanding shares has also been made through this vehicle, and operations have recommenced under the new name of NYK Auto Logistics (Kazakhstan) LLP.
