SA looks to bottles

South Africa is hoping to arrest the decline in bottled wine exports, particularly to the European Union (EU). The country is the 8th largest wine producer, but in 2014, more than 60% of shipments moved in bulk, either in tank containers or liner bags. Last year, just over 300M litres of wine were exported to Europe, equivalent to over 70% of the country’s total exports.
