Doosan bags Jurong deal

Doosan Heavy Industries and Construction has won an order for five 62m outreach (22-wide) 65 tonne SWL (under twinlift) container cranes, with an option for two more, from the Port of Jurong in Singapore. Four of the cranes are replacements for second-hand cranes Jurong purchased around three years ago but is now selling. Jurong’s nine cranes acquired as newbuilds were designed by Ansaldo (now part of Fantuzzi Noell) and fabricated at the nearby Pan-United shipyard.
