US East Coast shuttle drive
Germany-based Consens Transport Systems GmbH has won an order for 20 1-over-1 Conspeeds, with hydrostatic drive, from APM Terminals (APMT) for the new, automated terminal in Norfolk, Virginia. The manned Conspeeds will shuttle containers between the quay and the waterside end of the fully automated RMG stacks. There are options for more units.
