Kalmar has announced it is “moving on to the next stage in the implementation of its STS strategy” by offering STS cranes in the APAC region through its joint venture in China, Rainbow-Cargotec Industries (RCI). RCI has an assembly facility in Taicang but crane sections will be subcontracted to Rainbow Heavy Industries, an already well established relationship.
