Vado opts for hybrid shuttles from Kalmar

APM Terminals has ordered 19 hybrid 1-over-1 shuttle carriers from Kalmar for its new Savona Vado terminal. APMT previously announced orders for STS cranes and ASCs from ZPMC for its new 0.8M TEU deepwater facility on Italy’s Ligurian coast, which is now a joint venture with China’s Qingdao Port Group (WorldCargo News, November 2015, p15).
