Container ship deliveries set new annual record
NewsShipyards have delivered a record 410 container ships in 2024, with orders more than doubling from last year despite fleet growth.
Scrapping at record levels
Figures recently published by Bimco, show that the demolition of container ships has reached a record level, with more than 0.5M TEU scrapped so far this year, a 400% increase on the same period in 2015
