Taking care of the cross-travel
Energy chains have been gaining momentum in the past 3-4 years as alternatives to festoon systems, originally on yard cranes but increasingly on ship-to-shore container cranes as well. Igus, for example, states that there are now 125 ship-to-shore cranes and 1200 RTGs/RMGs with its chains installed or on order worldwide.
