Bureau Veritas has announced that it is to class the first container ship to be converted to run on LNG fuel, a 1,036 TEU ship, WES AMELIE, owned by Germany’s Wessels Reederei. Bureau Veritas said the classification work for the conversion is the first of its type worldwide.
