NWSA to set new targets

The Northwest Seaport Alliance (NWSA), consisting of the ports of Tacoma and Seattle, is in the process of adopting new greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets. Both Tacoma and Seattle included GHG reduction targets in the joint Northwest Ports Clean Air Strategy in 2008, reflecting the fact that ports have a highly environmentally conscious local constituency.
