A second rail intermodal service is to be set up from Samer Shipping’s ro-ro terminal in the Port of Trieste to cater for Turkish trailer traffic. The 32-wagon train will operate up to three pairs/ week between Trieste and Frankfurt, in a joint project of Samer, Cemat, Kombiverkehr, Railion, Trenitalia and UN Ro Ro.
