Lorry-Rail moves on

Next month Lorry-Rail, now owned 50.1% by SNCF Geodis, will increase the number of daily round trips between Luxembourg and Perpignan to four (meaning that frequencies will have doubled in one year), a capacity increase equivalent to an additional 50,000 lorry journeys switching to rail. Frequencies will continue to increase with the use of long trains (850m), which will be authorised to run on the route from March 2011.
