Freightliner launches more routes in GB

Freightliner “plugs the gaps”
Freightliner Ltd, Britain’s biggest deep sea container intermodal operator, has placed an order with the British arm of VTG, the Hamburg-based wagon hire company, for a fleet of twin platform Ecofret wagons, the first of their kind in the UK. The wagons ordered are twin sets with 40ft deck lengths and are designed to maximise the amount of 40ft containers that can be hauled without “empty running” or wasted 20ft slots.
