The EBRD and ICBC Turkey (a branch of the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China) have each agreed to provide loans of US$30M to help finance a US$86M project by Arkas Holding and Duisport (Duisburger Hafen) to build and operate Turkey’s first privately run inland rail port. It will be located in Kocaeli province, a major industrial region that includes the port city of Izmit as its capital.
