The California Transportation Commission (CTC) has voted to provide US$10M from the state’s Trade Corridor Improvement Fund towards the project to deepen the Port of Sacramento’s 43-mile ship channel from 30ft to 35ft. The project is estimated to cost US$80M. The Port will provide US$10M and is seeking US$60M in federal funding through the US Army Corps of Engineers.
