Vado Tank Cleaning makes Savona debut

News-in-print

A new joint venture of Stolt Tank Containers and Marenzana SpA has opened Vado Tank Cleaning Srl (VTC), a modern depot for tank containers in Vado Ligure (Savona), located next to the new APM Terminals facility, which is under construction in the Upper Ligurian port.

VTC aims to raise the bar for tank container-related services in Northern Italy. It offers a onestop service for cleaning, heating, storage, maintenance and testing of ISO tank containers and swap tanks.

The design is based on the Stolt Tank Containers Depot in Moerdijk, which opened three years ago. Both depots offer 24/7 heating facilities for tank containers.

Marenzana is one of Europe’s leading transport providers, specialising in liquid bulk chemicals and liquid waste, while Stolt Tank Containers has a fleet of more than 35,000 tank containers.
