Tanzania’s Minister of Transport, Samuel Sitta, has restructured the Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA) and appointed a new board of directors. The move follows the sacking earlier this year of TPA’s former acting director, Madeni Kipande, and the government’s determination to stamp out alleged fraud, bribery and corruption at the organisation.
