Russia’s container market increase by 18% year-on-year
NewsIn February of this year alone, Russia’s container market rose by 23.5 per cent year-on-year to 533,000 TEU. The preceding month also saw growth.
Riga plan
The Port of Riga plans to invest US$88M in a new container terminal on the northern part of the island of Kundzinsala. This will require Latvian Railways to build a new line, as the exisitng lines are on the south side of the island.
