Reefers and break bulk for Richmond
NewsThe Port of Virginia has received a US$466,747 grant for equipment to support reefer containers and break bulk on its barge service linking Richmond with its deep sea terminals.
Horizon in Hawaii move
US Jones Act operator Horizon Lines has signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) to purchase Honolulu-based Hawaii Stevedores, Inc (HSI), pending the completion of a due diligence process. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. HSI has operations in all the commercial ports on Oahu and the Island of Hawaii.
