NewsThe cranes have a reach of 24 containers across and have been designed to tackle the challenges posed by windy conditions. Also, the KPA has ordered four RTGs.
New vehicle facility for Mombasa
Uganda is to develop a new bonded car depot at Mombasa to handle vehicles bound for the country. The facility will be developed by Uganda Property Holdings at a cost of USh5B (US$2.9M). It will have the capacity to store up to 3000 vehicles and will be located at the entrance to Mombasa Island.
