Baltkran gets set for milestone delivery
NewsRussia-based crane maker Baltkran, which was founded in 1945, will shortly deliver its 200th widespan double cantilever RMG.
More capacity for Port Louis
Port Louis container terminal in Mauritius is being redeveloped this year as part of a US$174M overhaul of the port. The terminal has an official handling capacity of 200,000 TEU/year but the port is already handling many more containers, partly through utilising its multi-purpose terminal, so the Mauritius Ports Authority (MPA) has decided to expand the terminal. The revamped facility is expected to have capacity of 700,000 TEU.
