Colombo deadline extended

Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) has extended the deadline for submitting proposals to build the first container terminal at the Port of Colombo’s South Harbour development from May 19 to June 16 following requests made by bidders, an SLPA official said.

The 14 potential investors that collected bid documents in April included APM Terminals, APL, Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH), China Merchant Holdings International, Gulftainer and China Harbour Engineering Co.
