Duisburg’s container traffic grew by 29% in the first half of 2010 to 1.1M TEU, while throughput of other types of cargo, including coal, iron and steel, which had suffered particularly hard in 2009, grew likewise at a remarkable rate. Overall traffic increased by 17% to 13.2 mt.
